This is a nice country store seed box that dates back to the turn of the century. The company was organized and incorporated in November1889. . This box held vegetable seed packets. The inside paper label showing a large variety of colorful vegetables is in nice condition. The outside label with the Company’s name is worn with some staining but the handsome lettering is still colorful. Often the outside label is missing on these early seed boxes. Someone added the chain at a later date. The lid does have a warp to it but overall this seed box is very nice. SOLD
