This is a wonderful early bench dating back to the late
18th century to early 19th century. It has a nice simple form
with oval shaped top, nice deep apron, and half moon cutout
feet. It also has great original paint in a nice dry pewter
shade. One end of the top has more wear on the surface and
the other end does have a split but this bench is in good
sturdy condition. It is square nail construction and very
tight. The top measures 4' long by 11 ½ " wide and is 16 "
